The KFC at the Forbury Retail Park near the town centre is a handy place for chicken lovers to sate their hunger.
It is one of the newest KFC’s in Reading as it was established in 2018.
The restaurant is open from 11am to 10pm each day with the drive-thru operating from 11am to 10.45pm.
Now, KFC has been granted permission to keep the drive-thru and deliveries until 2am each night.
Deliveries are undertaken by Just Eat and Uber Eats.

The hours extension has been granted after the company applied for later sales to Reading Borough Council’s licensing department.
The application was approved as no one objected to a statutory consultation that ended on Tuesday, April 22.
The retail park lost 56 parking spaces when the KFC building was completed, leaving 322 spaces.
Two disabled parking spaces were established to make getting into the restaurant easier for wheelchair users.
KFC has six restaurants in the Reading area, with the others in Friar Street, Shinfield Road, Reading Retail Park in Oxford Road, Reading Gate Retail Park and the Lower Earley District Centre in Chalfont Way, Earley, which opened in December 2021.
Any business that wishes to sell food and non-alcoholic drinks between 11pm and 5am at night must apply for a late-night refreshment licence from the local authority.
