Unique new offices open at ONE Station Hill building in Reading

Offices named ‘The Quad’ have opened at ONE Station Hill, providing 30,000 square foot of ‘super prime’ workspace featuring private offices, co-working spaces, meeting rooms and amenities “designed to inspire and empower businesses and their people to thrive”.

The Quad is split across two floors of the 15-storey building, and is operated by NewFlex, a leading branded workplace provider.

Perks of the new space for workers include a boutique gym, access to rooftop yoga, dedicated wellness rooms and a luxurious lounge area.

The Quad will also host regular networking events encouraging office workers to connect, learn and grow.

Celebrating the news, Steve Jude, CEO of NewFlex, said: “With high levels of pre-launch interest and buzz around this incredible new landmark building, we are thrilled to unveil The Quad ONE Station Hill.

“Located in Reading’s most sought-after new development in what is one of the UK’s strongest regional business destinations, this new space is set to raise the bar for Reading’s business landscape.

“Our goal is to empower businesses of all sizes with flexible workspaces that foster growth and success, while prioritising employee wellbeing and reducing environmental impact.

“The Quad also offers opportunities to connect with other members in a vibrant community, providing the perfect space for the exchange of ideas where everyone can flourish.”

NewFlex is one of the first businesses to occupy space at ONE Station Hill, which is also due to welcome PepsiCo and business management consultants PwC in the near future.

Construction of ONE Station Hill was completed last December, following a major fire during the construction phase in November 2023.

At the time, crane operator Glen Edwards was able to rescue a co-worker who appeared to be trapped.

Earlier that year, Lincoln Property and the Station Hill joint venture company held a topping-out ceremony.

Welcoming NewFlex, Evan Reynolds, development director of Lincoln Property, said: “We are excited to welcome NewFlex as our first tenant in this exceptional workspace for Reading.

“ONE Station Hill has filled a significant gap in the Thames Valley commercial market for Grade A office buildings with its outstanding digital technology and sustainability credentials.

“The arrival of NewFlex’s innovative workspace offer, ‘The Quad’, is a clear demonstration of demand in the area from both established corporates and smaller businesses and start-ups for premium office space which meets their specific requirements.

“We look forward to supporting The Quad over the coming years and wish it every success in attracting new users and occupiers, not only from Reading itself but from across the wider South East region.”
