Witness appeal after sexual assault in Reading pizzaria

A SEXUAL assault taking place in a pizza restaurant in Reading has urge police to appeal for witnesses.

At around 10.30pm on April 17, a woman in her twenties was approached by the attacker in Thirsty Bear, Kings Road, Reading.

He then touched her inappropriately over her clothing. She was not injured during this incident.

Since the report was made, a 33 year old man from Reading was arrested on suspicion of sexual assauly and has been released on bail until June 1.

Investigating officer, PC Ben Jackson, based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened, to please come forward.
