The cafe is 100 per cent gluten free and serves food such as scones, lemon sponge cake, vegan cupcakes, quiche and pizza.

It also sells hot drinks including lattes, mochas and tea.

There is also the option to enjoy afternoon tea.

One customer said the food and drinks are “delicious” and the staff are “brilliant”.

Coffee Under Pressure

Coffee Under Pressure received 4.5 stars on Tripadvisor.

The coffee shop serves a variety of drinks such as iced mochas, cappuccinos, hot chocolates and sweet treats.

One customer said they enjoyed a “delightful” biscuit confectionary.

Treatz Reading

Treatz Reading serves a variety of desserts such as waffles, cookie dough, milkshakes and more.

It too was awarded 4.5 stars on Tripadvisor.

One reviewer said: “The customer service was outstanding and the oreo milkshake extra thick was amazing.”

Another said the food was “delicious”.

Ben’s Cookies

Rated with 5 stars on Tripadvisor, Ben’s Cookies is a popular choice in Reading.

One described the treats as the “best cookies in the whole world” and another said their caramelised biscuit cookie was “super delicious”.

Patisserie Valerie

This cafe on Broad Street was given 3.5 stars on Tripadvisor.

One customer said the cake was “yummy” another added “would recommend to visit this place for nice coffee and dessert”.
